Alberto Heads to Helsinki for IPP Open |

 Alberto stays in the Great White North as he travels to Helsinki, Finland for the $135,000 IPP Open. The IPP Open presents another tough challenge for Berto as he continues to work his way back into championship form.
The #1 seed scheduled to compete in singles at the 2008 IPP Open is Israel's Dudi Sela. Other top-ranked contenders for the singles crown include Sergiy Stakhovsky (UKR), Ivo Minar (CZE) and Alexander Peya (AUT). Peya narrowly defeated Alberto in the second-round at this year's Wimbledon qualifying, taking the match in three close sets. Peya won his qualifying final the next day as he advanced into the Wimbledon main draw. The IPP Open begins play on Saturday, November 15th with qualifying action and finishes up on Sunday, November 23rd with the title matches in both singles and doubles. |
