Alberto Francis was born in McAllen, Texas on February 6, 1982. Alberto, whose nicknames are Berto and Trix, started playing tennis at 8 years of age and turned pro when he was 23. Alberto is 25 years-old and single. When he is not playing on tour, Alberto lives and trains in Palm Springs, California where he is coached by Jose Higueras. Prior to turning pro, Alberto attended UCLA where as a senior, he was a key member of the Bruins' 2005 NCAA National Championship team. Alberto graduated from UCLA in 2005 with a B.A. degree in Economics. In his free time, Alberto enjoys watching football and basketball, listening to music, playing poker, and hanging out with his family and friends. Alberto's family includes his mom and dad, Mary and Alberto, Sr., and sisters Jazmin and Vanessa.
